If I May...

by Hina   Feb 20, 2006

If I may
Share a dream tonight
To a stranger
Whose name I shall keep
Undeclared

Ye! Stranger, o' friend
Mother, Father
Sister, Daughter, Son
Or a Brother, perhaps
Choose, which one
Do you represent?

Maybe my dreams,
Revolve around you
Like the sun revolves around Earth,
Or so it seems, misinterpreted

For in every stanza of my life
I have had verb confusion
Where my actions remained
Unknown
Where my words remained
Strange,
Yet, touched you,
In a way you couldn't
quite comprehend

Well my dear,
There'sa reason why the bird sings
At Cock-Crow,
It remains known
Only to the bird
As it does clearly
Only my dear,
To you.

~This may be a little difficult to understand, but for those of us thinking and writing from the heart, after reading it a few times, the meaning will come to you, as you interpret it.

You are correct, there are some parts in your poems that was hard comprehend, but you must remember that you wrote your poem from the heart and anything that was writted from there was never meant to be understood.

I believe this particular poem was meant to be read a loud, and that's exactly what I did.

It's filled with most emotions when read a loud, I wish I could correct your in any ways, but I found no flaws.
