I Miss You

I never thought it would come to this.
Letting it all sink in, I remember your sweet kiss.
From daylight to sundown, you were there.
Sometimes it felt like you’re the only one who ever cared.

Now it hurts so much because I have you both in my heart.
I hope everyday that him and I don’t part.
Yet, I always seem to think of you.
And remember all the good that you do.

I don’t know if you truly miss me.
Or if its just the past that you can see.
It was such a good life we had together.
Who could’ve known it wasn’t going to be forever?
