I'll Wait For You

I know you have a girlfriend,
This I can see,
But if you were no longer together,
Then I'd finally be free.

My heart aches,
Everyday your together,
And oh how I hope,
It won't last forever.

I know it's selfish of me,
And sounds so very bad,
But nobody can ever see,
How it's making me so sad.

I loved you so very much,
So I will wait for you,
For you to finally realize you love me,
And then we, together, can make it through.
