Seasons

by Knight_of_Blackrose   Mar 28, 2005

You say to me that things are fading fast
Somehow, you feel that things just won't last
Loss of hope distorts the reason
I'm somehow too blind too see the changing seasons

Rain has come with the thaw
With the bite of winter wearing off
Aroma of once decaying leaves no longer permeates the air
Yet still we are left with mortal despair

The snow is gone now
The rain has left for now
Summer is coming soon, sunshine will prevail

This is the reason for the changing seasons
To give us perspective, rhyme and reason
If summer never comes
If it just passed us by
Then our hope would be gone
Their would be nothing left to do but die

Our summer has yet to come
Their maybe hope for the both of us yet.

(Quite possibly my last poem on this forsaken site)

    Aaron,

Is this for me? :( Aww...judging the first stanza, I would quite so believe although I don't really understand the poem, maybe you could help since you're so intelligent! :D I have high hopes in talking to you about this tonight because I love you and I thought about some things and I was unfair, your friendship means a lot to me and I hope we can repair everything WE did. First of all, I'm sorry for everything but we'll leave the rest to private convo...i love you Aaron!!

    With love
    Heather
