Fickle Feline

by Knight_of_Blackrose   Apr 19, 2005

Love, you fickle feline
Taking padded steps in stealth
Stalking your prey with the utmost caution

Using your prowess to catch me unawares
Finding me, watching me with that penetrating stare

The hunted makes futile attempts to become the hunter
Only to find he has lost his way in the quickly thickening, choking forest
Becoming maddened by the chase
Hunting down something that cannot be caught

Too much like a lynx, you hide in shadows waiting for the kill
A cat and mouse game of life

Senses to keen for me to fool
Actions to subtle for me to catch

Love, you fickle feline
Thou hast bested me at a game I was never prepared to play
I do here by concede to the hunt

Pounce at will

i love the symbolism here, very good. I've been working with that a bit, maybe i'll post them later, it's just hard because people don't understand that it's symbolising something and it's for you to decide and mos tof the time i get asked..... what the hell does this mean, but yea, good work

Not your best, but of course, it's so creative but I couldn't expect less =) Nice job.
