Crossed the line

by Mild insomnia   Mar 29, 2005

Guess I’m too late, as always,
I can’t think straight, and I’m falling,
I even set my clocks forward.

Took a wrong turn, at my work,
All the streets blurred, colors swirled,
I ended up in your hallway.

I know that I should not have come here,
But that’s just the way it went, your smile’s austere…

And I
can’t seem to get anything right,
I’m loosing my mind…
And every single time,
I try
to make it there I almost might,
I’m starting to unwind,
I think I have crossed the line…

My hair’s a pain, then it rains,
I’ll miss the train, or the aeroplane,
It doesn’t matter what I do.

Broken my shoe, books overdue,
Missed the morning news, two calls from you,
Guess you’re mad at me again.

I call back, but only get your answer phone,
I assume you must be fed up of me, I know you’re home…

And I
can’t seem to get anything right,
I’m loosing my mind…
And every single time,
I try
to make it there I almost might,
I’m starting to unwind,
I think I have crossed the line…
