Life as a lake....

by Timothy   Mar 31, 2005

Reflections, floating above water lilies early in the morning;
shadows, a look to the sky reveals their soaring
ripples of life reach the shore
splashes of existence create divine lore
The cycle of water, affected by light
designed this lake, put it into sight
calm beneath the surface, chaos on land -
similar to life and the choices at hand.
As sparkling radiance fills the soul
its easy to forget how life can take its' toll
worries slip away like sand on the edge,
like a rock crumbles and falls off a ledge
This lake is here, set in this spot
and it has been here long, since before mankind fought
longevity wins, and endurance holds out -
so don't ever give up, and never hold doubt
