Laughter

by Timothy   Mar 31, 2005

Written at the age of 13, excuse the repetition of the word \"thing\" in the concluding lines....TY very much

Down the hall, these sounds wafter
to be heard always and forever after
sweet and golden, the sound will linger;
unable to be touched or held by the finger

in the palm of a hand it is never felt,
or a bundle of goodies it is never dealt
this idea is simple, and easy to use
easy to find and hard to abuse

all of your feelings center around this,
and once it is gone, this thing you\'ll miss
this thing can kill all things after,
this thing is only one thing, laughter
