Love?

The words just don't flow like the other day,
I can't think exactly of what I need to say,
I just can't feel that spark that at once I knew we had,
The fact that its not there just makes me so mad,
We used to be like the best of friends,
Even when we were mad there was no need to make amends,
We were in love and thats how we begin.

Why can't I love you the way you love me,
When we talk I only think "why can't you let me be,"
Its just not the same as when you lived down here,
When we way, "I love you" its not as strong or clear,
I begin to wonder if our "love" was even there,
Is it you that is the one that I really care,
The future is extremely hard for me to see.

Love isn't a word that would describe us now,
In reading this poem I know you'll ask how,
How can I say that were not in love,
I don't know how, your an angel from above,
Its just so amazing how you float you don't walk,
How your voice holds me captive every time we talk,
I'm sorry that we have to end like this,
I love you? I don't know but its you that I'll miss.

Its a poem I wrote a while back but it has a lot of my emotions in it. I wrote this when I broke up with my girlfriend. I'm sorry Lauren.
