Her dreamful world

by Jacqui Armstrong   Apr 5, 2005

Standing there a tear in her eye
She steps off the edge and begins to fly
Over the houses the wind in her face
None of this causes her heart to race

Her watchful eye on the people below
So small like ants they move so slow
The trees in the distance all one big blur
The pain slowly floating away from her

But in reality she’s soaring down
Further, faster, she hits the ground
People all gather but its too late
Her dreamful world her sorrowful fate
