The pain that is my pleasure

I cut myself again today
It made the pain seem so far away
The cold metal against my skin
It's addicting, like any sin
I make no noise, not a sound
As the warm blood trickles down
It feels so good
I knew it would
The blade is there
When no one cares
I feel better for now
