Nonsense

by Ash LEIGH   Apr 12, 2005

Magic struck my teenage years
with some laughter, hope and tears
never settled down to one place
black and blue marks lay upon my face

some may hold the truth to the world
but in this small town i'm just a small girl
gloomy clouds might come my way
but the sun is there to brighten the next day

leaving footprints on my soul and mind
hiding somewhere for me to find
whispers envelope my ears tonight
in a nervous shock of incredible fright

nonsense here can cause you pain
can make you crazy or go insane
ignore the thoughts and judgements too
the only one that matters here is you
