Cherished Rose

by Jacklyn   Apr 12, 2005

Your parents may not accept you,
But I cherish you.

Your friends may lie to you,
But that’s something I would never do.

Your teachers may teach things untrue,
But I’ll teach you the truth.

Your heart may always seem lonely,
But your heart my love is pouring.

Your soul may seem empty,
But I will always keep it lifted.

Your eyes may seem dull,
But I will always light it up.

The rose may lose its pedals,
But my love will not go with it.

To you love is lost,
But I am here with arms open.

To yourself you may be nothing,
But to me you are everything and more.

    'With a diamond heart -
    You speak so sweat -
    You; Beautiful Angel -
    Are the reason; I don't weep -'
