A blade so fine

by Lost Girl   Apr 13, 2005

A blade so fine
That I barely felt it as it brushed past my china skin
A cut so precise
And delicate that I could hardly feel the blade go in
A feeling so strange
And in that one second I can see myself once more
A sound so small
That startled me, and so the blade fell to the floor
A wish so strong
That I could stop this, and end all this worthless pain
A guilt so harsh
Given that I can’t stop, I’m cutting myself again
