The Love She Never Discovered

by Jessica   Apr 15, 2005

The tears cover the gleam in her eyes,
The wounds over the years not healed,
The silence of her nature drowns out her cries,
The gashes in her heart still not sealed.

The millions of sounds that fall on deaf ears,
The strength she never recovered,
The beatings and thrashings that caused all those fears,
The love she never discovered.

This has 2 b one of the best poems, I hav ever read! Its really sad because this happens 2 so many people, they always find out when its too late. One of my best male friends died in a car crash and he told all of his friends except me that he loved me and when I found out I cried so much coz i realised I loved him too. Your poem has made me realise that when you love some1 u need 2 tell them. Thank-you for submitting this poem and I hope everyone else loves it as much as I do!!! thanks again Lxxx
