Decieving Love

You tell me that I`m beautiful
Kissing me as you always do.
Never acting any different.
I didn`t have a clue.

Then one day you write to me.
"I`m sorry but were through."
The saddest day of my life.
And the start of it without you.

Trying to make everything seem OK.
When I really know it`s not.
Hiding the tears, forgetting the pain.
I just wish every memory I forgot.

Holding your hand was the greatest.
Saying I love you was too.
But the day that you said it was over,
You owned my heart and shattered it in two.

People came up to me
"How`s everything going?"
"Are you going to make it through?"
I just nod my head yes.
Lying to them just like you lied too.

I`m slowly getting over you.
Forgetting what we used to be
I don`t know if I can though..
I`ll just have to wait and see.

I wrote this for my friend Amanda .. because her boyfriend of 7 months just broke up with her and gave her the lamest excuse ever "We never did anything together" .. All the guys in the world must read this huge book filled with excuses for breaking up with your girlfriend. Please comment and vote. It would mean a lot!
