New Jerusalem

Then I saw a new heaven and new earth;
The first heaven and earth had passed away.
And through the chaos I witnessed her birth.
As I watched the dawn of the first new day.

Behold, the dwelling of God is with men!
The Holy city descends from the sky.
On that day I saw a new age begin.
Watching it all upon a mountain high.

And every nation shall walk by its light.
The glory of God will shine from those gates.
Within her jasper walls there is no night.
For the lords of darkness have met their fates.

On golden streets they shall give praise to Him,
As they gather in New Jerusalem.
