Temporary Relief

by Carmen   Apr 25, 2005

The slower, the better
Finally, another red letter

The tingling sensation
Parts the frustration

The scarlet red blood
Starts slowly to flood

My brain felt dead
With my arm dressed in red

I wiped it off gently
And watched it intently

Knowing my scars, will always stay
But this life once begun, I can’t betray

Merely temporary relief
Tomorrow again, to release all my grief
