Silver Bullets

by Lost Girl   Apr 25, 2005

Take a loaded gun to my head, full with silver bullets
Please give me the strength to pull the trigger this time
Imaginary pistol, held so tight in my worried palms
Hold it close, please end this life that I have to call mine

Bullets skim so quickly through my hollow skull
Fill my mind with empty thoughts, cold metal through flesh
Burning a hole, tearing right through thoughts and dreams
Ripping me in to sheds, I fall to the ground, nothing left

Fragments of my skull fall to the ground, scattered all around
Silver bullets tore through my silver lined clouds tonight
In a gun a found my only sanctuary, as bullets ripped me up
As they punctured my fragile skull, I saw that final light

My whole life flashed before my eyes, in an instant it is over
No more memories to hold onto, as the bullets slice through
Grasping tight to one last thought, one final breath left
And with it there are my final thoughts of you……

Wow, Lost Girl. You're just like me. We really do have no life... Just sitting here for someone to comment. :) I swear I commented just five minutes before you commented on Mary, Mary. (: Keep up the good work. Five.
