If my tears could make a river, you could swim right back to me.
If my tears could work a miracle, they could set me free.

If my tears could build a staircase, I could climb to where you are.
If my tears made up the sky you could slide down on a star.

If my tears could fix time, I'd go back to when you were here.
If my tears could give me wings I'd fly to you and hold you near.

If my tears could make me happy, I wouldn't be so blue.
If my tears could mend a heart mine wouldn't be broken in two.

But these tears of mine aren't magic and they can't make my dreams come true.
They can only show how much I miss and love you!
