Blue Sky

by Lost Girl   Apr 30, 2005

The sky shies so blue, hiding the darkness of yesterday
The tears shed and the broken hearts of those fading away
The sky shines so blue, discarding the pain we shared
Reminding us, not of our hardship, but of those who cared

Why does the sky shine so blue, is it mocking me?
Why are there no clouds to hide behind, clear for you to see
Is it teasing and taunting me, telling me that I lied?
Is the sky so blue, to pretend that there were no tears I cried?

The sun today is brighter than it has ever been, burning
But is it trying to forget my past, as the seasons are turning
I want to hold on, just for a few more moments to this
Am I free from stormy skies, or will the rain clouds be missed?

The sky is bluer than I have seen, azure days and sapphire nights
Bright skies are hiding away all of my unforgotten frights
This summer sky which should bring hope, bluer than the sea
Is nothing but a lie, I’m sure that God’s blue sky is mocking me

*sorry a bit weird, it might not makes sense to you*
