All Aboard! " The Boat To Hell..."

by Hina   May 1, 2005

Lifes Changing
We don’t realize it is
Hanging,
Our throats by a rope
When your losing
That someone who loved you
Who gave you hope

Everyone’s going
All of us,
In a boat to Hell
For cruel intentions
Hoping for a way
To portray
That we’ve not yet fell

Things happen
Domestic disputes, Wars
Blindly,
Without the vision of a Woman’s tears
Or a child’s heart
Loosing all hope

Hearts break
When fate intervenes
Slowly,
Enlightening our soul
Seeing other lives
Taken by our wives
A child born cold

Things happen
Everyone goes,
Lives are changing,
Hearts break,
But who is to determine
Your strength,
Your faith,
Or maybe even if its too late?
Your FATE…

I actually liked it... It almost seemed to have it's own poetry form, though i doubt it. Read some of my work if you find the time.

A very unique and excellently written poem. The rhyming scheme was original, and I liked it a lot. You portrayed this topic beautifully. Kudos
