Don’t run your fingers through my hair,
Don’t try to hold me close,
Please stop doing all the little things,
That I loved about you most.

Your making this so much harder,
Than it was supposed to be,
But I’m trying so hard not to cry,
Why was this decision placed on me?

There’s a thousand reasons,
Why I should turn & walk away,
It just gets harder,
After every passing day.

I look into your eyes,
Knowing I loved you before,
I dont know what happened to us,
Why cant i feel it anymore?

I want to say I love you,
And mean it like you do,
Its gotten so much harder,
For me to keep lying to you.

How can I walk away from someone,
Who’s been my best friend,
You’ve been with me so long,
I’m not ready for the end..

Please forgive me for doing this,
I cant keep pretending for you anymore,
