Losing Me

How would she feel if she lost me,
if I chose to go away
or if something uncontrollable were to lead me to my fate?
I wonder just how much hurt
she would feel deep inside?
I'm curious to know
if she'd find the time to cry?
I'd like to know just how much
her life would change without me?
Would she be feeling lonely
or ever think about me?
The reason that I question these
is not so plain to see.
I have no doubt she loves me
or that she cares for me.
I just need to know some answers
and I need to know that she
would truly,
down deep inside
be sorry to lose me.
