We Can't

We can't love each other,
This we know is true,
We can't love each other,
But somehow we do.

We can't love each other,
We'll break peoples hearts,
We can't love each other,
We've been told it from the start.

We can't love each other,
But the feelings hard to fight,
We can't love each other,
We can barely make it one more night.

We can't love each other,
We must keep it a secret,
We cant love each other,
So no one Will get upset.

    hey. i think its an awesome poem. im in the same boat. im in love with this great guy. were engaged. im so excited. but i have to wait till im out of high school. in two years...(im almost done with my sophomore year) and everybody says that we cant make it work. we have too many problems. we just dont mix.. stuff like that. so we cant hang out when im around my friends or when hes around his coz they dont really approve of us dating.
