Boy in the corner

by Anna   May 17, 2005

Boy in the corner

Hunched over the table he lay,
His eyes lost in a book,
His mind lost in his own world.

His eyes half open,
His eyes half closed,
His pale skin so thin,
Faced to this world alone.

Never have we seen his true colours,
Only his outside layer we have seen,
Hiding away from the world,
In his own little place.

Occasionally he moves,
And shows a little reaction,
A blank face is all he can express,
In his own world,
He will forever live.
