The First Day (Birth Of My Sister)

From The First Day
You Were Born Unto This Earth
I Cried Then
And Not Because Of Birth

Those Pretty Hazel Eyes
Yes I Know Your Cute
But Only If You Knew
The Troubles Beyond Youth

When Innocence Is Over
No More Happy Bliss
Being Pampered
Is a Happiness You'll Miss

I Cried For The Heartache
That Will Come As You Grow
Innocently You Ly There
Your Too Naive To Know

I Rub Your Back
Until You Are Asleep
I Look Upon Your Cradle
And Then I Start To Weep

I Say a Prayer
For In Years You Will Be Grown
And The Unhappiness Of Life
Will Shockingly Be Shown

Yes You Are a Baby
Cute You Are Alright!
But Only If You Knew
The Pain That Comes With Life

Sad but so true! I used to think about that when my son was a baby too! They are so innocent when they are young! They grow up so fast. All you can do is try and protect them from all the pain and heartache! Very well done! 5/5 Take Care! Brooke
