Wolves

by Dead As Yesterday   May 20, 2005

Wolves bear down on me, with teeth sharp and crewel
The anger on their breath the acidic ness of their drool
My mind is frozen with terror and my end is plain to see
The wolves have come a calling ripping into me

The moon has fully risen and the air has frozen still
Life flashing right before my eyes as they take their fill
My broken body bleeding shattered shards of my mind
Torture me with memories of the ones I leave behind

Shotguns in the distance all but just a little bit to late
The cavalry has finally made it but I have met my fate
Burry me in a peaceful place and smile upon my name
Remember me in a happy way, as I will do the same

Just thought I'd try something new

It's very interesting to read a new type of poetry from you! This was good, but I prefer your love poems....I really liked the last two lines! Very nice ending~Holly

Nice write. It's always good for a writer to expand his or her talent to new open ideas. I think you pulled it off. <3333
