To Save a Soul (monotetra)

by Dorotea©   May 22, 2005

~Before you read this poem, I just want to tell you that it's a montetra, and I will post the rules to writing one soon~

Healing words to embrace the cold
and reach out for thy heart of gold
to memories it has been sold
Let us be bold! Let us be bold!

To save the heart that yearns for peace
a craving soul whose tears shall cease
from evil bonds this soul release
May joy increase! May joy increase!

For those who dwell in shadows tall
steady your feet as not to fall
past happiness to mind recall
Life shall enthrall! Life shall enthrall!

If sorrows dance in minds of pain
each word uttered a silent feign
to yourself you’ve added a chain
A life attain! A life attain!

Wow, this was amazing. I have yet to write a monotetra, but after reading yours I should think about it. The thing is to find the subject and inspiration. Throughly enjoyed the read. Now you've got me thinking!

    Cheers!

Very nice job. I wrote a monotetra a while back but wasn't near as good as this one. Keep up the amazing work 5/5
