While you were off having fun without me,
I was here waiting;
While you were hanging out with your friends,
I was here waiting;
While you were off having the time of your life,
I was here waiting;
Now you are here wondering why I am not,
A note read: "I was here but you were not so now you are there and I am gone for good to wait for you no more."

    Doesn't it seem like this happens so many times in your life. You can wait and wait and wait for something, you either get it or it happens just as you want it no more.
    Such is life.

    I really like the repetition in this poem, even though it's short; it makes you feel like the author has spent an eternity waiting.

    The more I read of your work the more I enjoy it.
    I think a trip to my favourite authors is in order.

    Oh. that is a good poem. i liked it. it could use improvement on the events that happened, but i think its good enough. keep up the work.
