My Message

Today I have come to you here,
to give you a message so dear.

In my heart I know that it's true,
and I hope that someday you will too.

There is a God, who will not go away,
He teaches us through prophets today.

On one spring morning in 1830,
He spoke to a boy of only 14.

This young boy never knew
what he was destined to do.

But because of his faith and all he would do,
Millions of people now know what is true.

I know that the Godhead isn't 3 in 1,
They are the Father, Holy Ghost, and the Son.

We all will be punished for our own sins,
and won't be punished for Adam's transgressions.

Everybody sins, you, and even me,
But through Christ's Atonement we all will be free.

We believe in baptism by immersion,
Just follow the example of God's Son.

With just faith in Christ, you cannot succeed,
You need to be Christlike in work and in deed.

The saying "Till death do you part" is such a pity,
With the right pow'r, marriage is for eternity,

With this, my message must come to an end,
but there is much more that I wish I could send.
