This Knife

As I cry a river of tears
And try to run from all my fears
As i hold this knife
Not wanting to live this life
Hoping you will understand
I didn't kill myself for any man
I did it for me
So it would set me free
As i watch the blood drip
I bite my lip
Waiting for this pain to stop
My soul the devil has now bought
With my thoughts i have kept
I think about the life i have now left
All the pain
All the hurt
All the betrayal from that stupid jerk
Now i slowly slip from life
With the help of this knife

    oh my i really liked this poem...and it rhymed to (lol) sorry i just really prefer reading rhyming poems but your free verse poems are great too but i really did like this one. Keep writing

    i used to feel like this to. we have so much in common and i think other people on here do to but at least we can count on each other for help.
