A Burning Desire

by Sarah Ann   Jun 3, 2005

I feel a burning desire
Boiling beneath my skin
Every time I keep on losing
I just can’t seem to win

When I think I do things right
Everything turns out so wrong
I finally came to the conclusion
That I would never be strong

My wings are falling off
My soul is slipping away
My tongue is bleeding from words
That I always wished to say

I just can’t seem to take this
My body wants to leave
I feel a burning desire
And it is hidden up my sleeve

I apologize for the length and it's poor content.

In poetry, i think length doesn't matter. It was a realy good poem. The words describe what it's meaning is. It's Quality not Quanity.. Memba!
