Faceless Strangers

by Fighter (Ariane L.)   Jun 4, 2005

Faceless strangers rush by me.
Oblivious to the world that surrounds them.
Oblivious to others.

Absorbed by themselves,
Taken in by their world.
Oblivious.

Faceless strangers stare at me,
Yet their eyes, unfocused,
See not what is shown.

They see not my face,
They see not who I am.
Oblivious.

This is what the world has come to.
People, always too busy.
People, absorbed in their little world.
Faceless strangers, oblivious.
