My life will never be the same again

I used to lie in bed at night
Listening to the two of you fight
I always heard ever slammed door
I heard everything that fell to the floor
I remember mom crying the very next day
But i never thought she would go away
Then one night they both went to the bar
But when they came back there was only one person in the car
I saw my dad cry a bucket of tears
It was everything i always feared
From that time on my life wasn't the same
My mom had disappeared and all I felt was pain
A drunken mess
I made her confess
She shouldn't have left
But it was too late
Maybe it was fate
But i know i will never be the same
There isn't anybody to blame
But I love her now more than ever
And I hope soon things will be better

    i enjoyed this one but again i think it would benefit from more imagery...i liked the line...I saw my dad cry a bucket of tears....this is the sort of thing im trying to aim at.....also the rhyming seemed a little forced...as in u was tryin to make it rhyme so it didnt flow as well as it perhaps could have. hope u dont mind me being constructive?! take care and please return the favour

    Amazing. It doesn't seem like a friendship poem though. It's reallly good. I like the rhymes and the whole flow. I love the story that you portrayed. I myself deal with my parents fighting at least once and day. There have been threats and everything! It's crazy but thank you!!! I hope things get better.

    I didn't really like this one...The rhymes seemed too forced, and there were too many cliches for my liking...

    But the message in it is good, and the story too...Many people face such problems everyday...ITs really sad..
