Long Lived Memories

by Katie   Jun 6, 2005

~This poem is about me. I might be going to a new school next year and I'm kind of sad about leaving my friends here. So this is to you guys. I love you all!~

----

One memory, one friend.
Another memory, never to end.
A girls world is about to drift away.
All she can do is remember the last few days.

New school, new town, new life, new friends.
Creation of a chain of love that never ends.
Memories don’t fade and memories represent.
Creation of a memory just means more time was spent.

Such a loving heart shares love with another.
A bond becomes stronger, like a sister and a brother.
Never to let go and always to remember.
The snow fights in December and the school days in September.

So many people, so close to her heart.
There’s no way these memories could fall apart.
Friend by friend, laughter and joy.
A strong friendship, never to be destroyed.

This girl would be so hurt if her friends give in.
For they share one heart, memories deep within.
Love, live, and laugh.
Never forget you are my other half.

All memories playing like a tape inside her head.
Without these memories this girl would end up dead.
So she writes to say thanks and keep your head high.
For this is hello not goodbye.
