Welcome to the life of a girl like me
with tears always pouring but none of them seen
with sorrow and hate built up inside
with nowhere to run and nowhere to hide

welcome to the life of a girl like me
with the lonely echo of a silent scream
with hopeless wishes and pointless lies
with a life not worth living and prayers to die

welcome to the life of a girl like me
living in a nightmare never a dream
with a knife in hand and a bloody wrist
with the thought in mind that i won't be missed

welcome to the life of a girl like me
becoming what I never wanted to be
with a broken soul and an empty heart
dead inside and falling apart

welcome to the life of a girl like me
you'll get used to it soon
trust me
