Downward Spiral

by DBM   Jun 9, 2005

No one cares

No one knows

The pain inside

The path I chose

I ask for help

They turn their heads

I go and hide

I’m on the edge

I let it go

The sadness deep

The world below

The Hell I reap

I kill I bleed

I cut I dream

Of tales untold

And trails unseen

Almost there

I start to fall

I grab the air

And clutch smooth walls

Faster I drop

Nearing the end

Hitting the ground

My blood turns red.

^^pomes LOL. AnYwAy, I liked this I thought it came off as really sincere, as in you do know what you're writing about. Alot of sad poems I read sound very self pittying but in this case I found you just stated it how it was and I liked the honesty. Well done :)

I've read all your poems and I think they are all great, even if I haven't commented on them all.
I was captivated from the first line and it stayed with me after I'd read it, I had to come back and comment.
Hope to see more of your pomes
