Our Human Day

by Eden   Jun 10, 2005

Sometimes I wish I could just make everything go away...
When I look at the world I see how pathetic it is and how volatile human nature can be...
So why struggle to remain within the circle of trust here on earth?
Why not seek the solace in the spiritual realm, where things are forever and forever complete?
Just because you are dark does not mean that you are beyond kindness...

...I look at the world in sorrow as I see the aftereffects of children's pain...their swallowing what they do not know to be poison...but I do...
Life has taught me to never wholeheartedly trust any soul...because you end up getting tricked and kicked out like a wretch...what the world would like us think we are...

I see them drink wine and try to act happy...when in all actuallity, when people look away, this woman I am watching at the bar stretches her jaw because the smile is causing her so much pain to hold...Alcohol does not help but for a little while...it is a tool for sadness to reap its treasure...and gather harvests it does, every day.

So crucify me, if you so desire. I know what I see in this muck and mire. Forbid me to tell the hidden secrets that lie secreted away in the Human Day...but I know the truth about the nighttime horrors we all face underneath our covers...
...For night is the time where thinking happens, and people sort through the days events for better or for worse...and if it's worse...it is more poison for the world to swallow.

I want to be able to stroke a child's silken hair...to bathe in the luxury of eternity for all time. To be gentle yet straightforward is a hard thing most times...just the world is one or the other...mostly the latter.

Ahh..your mind! ---I love it. Although ,its not a poem, it's still an amazing thought so to say. I mean, sure, many of us with half a brain wonder these things but the way you put it makes it original. Haha, could I expect less? Keep up the great work. 5/5

Very touching. I too see the world for what it is, and not as most see it. Keep up the good work.
