Self-Control

by Sarah Ann   Jun 11, 2005

Sometimes everything is going wrong
Exposing feelings you kept for so long
You explode on anyone in your own way
Words spill, which you never meant to say
And everyone heard because it was all true
It all reflects now in what you say and do

…………………………………..

When you've lost your temper
and you've said some hurtful things,
think about the heartaches
that your actions sometime bring.

You'll never get those moments back,
on such precious time to waste,
and all because of things you said
in pure anger and in haste.

You may not mean the things you do
when anger begins to take its toll,
For you may regret your actions
once you've lost your self-control.

-Not my best. Sorry-
