One Good Reason

Why should I keep on trying
When I can’t do nothing right
What good is there in seeing
There is nothing near in sight

Why should I keep on living
When no body gives a care
Why should I keep pretending
That I am alive and really there

Why should I keep on waiting
When there's nothing left to see
Why should I suffer in living
When it is hard to even breathe

Why should I still give my love
When nobody wishes to take
Why should I struggle in this life
If my existence is a big mistake

Why should I keep on running
When all I can do is fall
Why should I keep on asking
For someone to hear my call

Why should I keep searching
For an answer to what I say
Why should I keep on living
Just so I may die another day

Why should I go on knowing
That to the world I’m a disgrace
Give me one real good reason
Why I shouldn’t leave this place
