Forgetting Everything

As I sit here and cry
Listening to the rain
Trying to get through this
Trying to forget all the pain.
Everything I`ve ever felt for you.
All the things you said.
Went right to my heart.
Instead of to my head.
You totally took over me.
I was blinded by your love.
All you did was lie to me.
I thought you were sent from above.
You left me here all alone.
Went right into her arms.
You said you`d never leave me.
But that was one of your charms.
I was so gullible.
As to think you actually cared.
You were the only one who listened
The only one that was ever there.
All you wanted from me was gifts.
When you knew I`d give you the world.
All I wanted was your love.
And to be called your girl.
But now as I lay here.
I see what I did wrong.
I let your love blind me.
For way,way too long.
So I`m going to get through this.
I`m going to stop my tears.
I`m going to quit loving you.
I`m forgetting my biggest fear.
