Every Raindrop Tells A Story

by PassingAngel   Jun 23, 2005

Every raindrop tells a story
This raindrop is mine.-
As the clouds in the sky drips rain of today
My words flow by
These words I cannot say
I look up at the cool gray
Realizing this is the same sky
You too look upon every day
Oh how I wish these emotions I cannot speak
Be released and not crush me for I become weak
These letters sent in my sweet, sad dreams
Sent down by the river, beside the misty streams
Your boat in my mind will row by
I blink once, twice and begin to cry
For I will not see you 'til I don't know when
This heart break and sorrow I cannot mend
Half way around the world I would fly by
Looking for your face yet I don't know why
I don't think there is anything I can do
Held up in this prison called Home
I will try not to break I will try to stay strong
Yet my heart will tell me this is not where I belong
I would walk a million miles
Just to be with you
But I don't know if you would do the same for me too
I don't know if I'm missing you or if I'm wanting you
I'm watching this puddle grow bigger
From the raindrops in the sky
Like the hole in my heart growing bigger
From the sadness flowing by
I'm always thinking of you and there's nothing I can do
But this I understand and this I know for sure
The winds will blow and the rain will fall
The seas will rage and the waves too
But no matter what,
I will always love you.
