Imaginary (I am Nothing)

by PassingAngel   Jul 1, 2005

I can feel myself
Locked up inside of me
Screaming to be free
Scratching the walls of my insanity
Keeping me under lock and key

Go away and leave me alone
I don't want my face to be shown
I am nothing
Nothing becoming something
Something I am not
Nothing but a lie

I am not real
I am imaginary
Forget my untitled name
Drown me in my pool of shame

Forget me
Remember nothing
The nothing that I am
You see, nothing makes sense
My insanity continuing to build its fence
The fence that barres me from this world
This cruel, pathetic world

Driven by madness
Driven by hate
Watch the imaginary things
That I create
Watch me cry
Hear me scream
Quiet down,
This is nothing but a dream

Don't try to wake me up
Don't try to fix me
I'm not broken
The words that you read
Are what comes from inside
From these words
There is nothing to hide

My deep dark secrets
Are now revealed
My wounds have still not healed
The lunatic has escaped
From my head
Its cage has been devoured
By my lunacy
Keep reading as I carry on

You would see the blood stains and tears
But this is not paper
Go ahead, judge me from what I've written
This piece from my soul you've bitten
What does this piece taste like to you?
Is it bitter is it sweet?
Have you figured out the madness from beneath?!

You think I am a freak
Don't you.
That's okay.
Now I know you have no idea of the pain I speak.
