My tears

Every thing was going good,
But then it all changed
Broken was everything I built up,
Lost was everything I gained

My heart began to beet less
Turning hard as stone
As the blood that flowed inside my veins,
Became so very cold

A wall began to build up,
Held together by my tears
It sheltered me from the world,
The one I grew to fear

My heart was also guarded
Hidden for many years
Muffled were my cries,
And no one saw my tears.
