Meaningless Prayers

Now i lay me down to sleep
I pray the lord my soul to keep
And if i die before i wake
I thank the lord for ending this mistake

it seems that all prayers
are only said through lies
always there are ignorants
for a soul that once cries

no real purpose
for some of us here
but to remind the generation
of pain and of fear

so that they never forget
what Pandora once did
her mistakes never forgiven
yet her achievements always hid

many Pandora's live in the world today
passing on the evil that is life
too weak from hatred, and you too blind
to see that all your words cause is meaningless strife
