South of Sanity

by AGirlWorthFightingFor   Jul 9, 2005

You're so beautiful
what brings handsome here
mysterious, detective defected
you detect another bare spot on your skin
you detect another reason
to be painted by numbers
the names of girls you had forgotten
lonely and rejected
feeling disconnected now
so love me gentley with a chainsaw

tell me your fantasies
the things you hide behind
storm cloud blue eyes
and such mild-mannerness
perfect gentleman
you know how charming you are
push those thin frames a little higher
up the bridge of your nose
wear pathetic like a glove

you're dangerous
it's obvious you're enamoured with me
it's perfectly clear the state that we're in

don't make me your damsel in distress
things were fine
you are obsessed
take another photograph
memories you never had

another time
another guy
stunt like this would make me mad
4 a.m. and we will stalk again
on the fourth of July
naked like the truth
should always be

breakdown
let it enfold you
it's really not that bad
it's really not that bad
we are meant to live

I love the way you describe things "so love me gently with a chainsaw." That is frickin great. You write how I try to get other peopel on here to write, describing emotions and feeling, and ideas with things the everyday person can relate to. So many people try to use teh stars or I feel it in my heart and stuff like that, but you don't. You use everyday things. That's what I like about it.
