Something More

I can sing in the rain
And I can dance my worries away,
But one thing that is almost impossible
Is knowing that I'm here to stay.

I can wake up in the morning
Thinking everything is alright,
But I can turn around and in a blink of an eye,
Day has already turned to night.

My life is always moving
In more ways than one,
And as quickly as I can answer
My life could be done.

My family could all vanish
And my friends could all turn away,
What would I do if I was alone
No one would be there to say it's ok.

There has to be something
The answer must be near,
I need to know everything is going to be ok
But the answer right now is not clear.

Lieing somewhere out there,
Somewhere beneath the core,
I know there is an answer
There has to be something more.
