Obsession

by Wintersolstice   Jul 11, 2005

Sitting all alone
Staring at the clock
Feeling every tick
And willing it to stop

I am eating now
Is he? What?
Now the TV's on
Is he watching his?

When im close to him,
Im unable to touch
But being far away
I still miss him so much

Im going to bed
Is he? Has he gone?
Probably, it’s late
Is she with him?

I am waking up now
He might still be asleep
If I get the bus into town
I may see him in the street

Sitting, thinking, waiting.
What’s he doing? Is he ok?
Standing, pacing, crying
Does he know he's killing me?

Its like a way of life
A habit or a profession
But the fact that it hurts
Shows it is my obsession.

Wiw. The last first really gave it a final finishing. The last verse explains it all. The piece flowed really well throughout and lots of detail and emotion persued all throughout. Kat
