Forever broken heart

This day I didn't want to see,
but it just happened to me,
This is the news I didn't want to hear,
and now my eye can’t stop its tear.
Can it really be this way?
That you won’t be here to stay?
Your departure would make me sad,
Never knew it would hurt this bad!
True I know, you must leave,
why does my soul still grieve?
This is going to break my heart;
I really can’t live with us apart.
Say you'll try or say you may,
At least keep the promise that you'll stay.
It's hard to believe but it’s true.
I never learnt to live without you!
You’ll be gone away;
you’ll be gone far,
But in me you'll leave a scar,
a broken heart that cannot be mended..
because it still grieves of a friendship that ended!
